Speak Life over Death

^{Matthew 8:28-29
28} When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes,^[c] two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. ²⁹ “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”



^{The bible tells us 2 men that were demon possessed lived in the tombs, a dead place.
Too violent for anyone to even think of coming in close contact with them. No one passed by that location out of fear but then one day Jesus showed up!
This fearless son of the living God clothed in power and authority dared to step on dead soil.
When confronted by the 2 demon possessed men with the question Jesus' mere existence was already the answer to, one command spoken forth evacuated the hopeless place where these 2 men were caused to dwell & continuously be tortured.
I ponder at the question these 2 men asked. "Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?" I imagine that in their condition the only thing that they may have expected from this point was death.
But, Jesus said "GO," and immediately there was deliverance sending those torturing demons into a herd of pigs who rushed down the steep bank into the water to drown!!
We can sometimes feel as though the circumstance we are in is a dead place with no Hope. Where it seems no one will understand enough to pass by.
Praise be to God there is a man named Jesus who has already stepped into our place of death and has already commanded all oppression, all depression, all fear, all insecurity, all sickness, all death, to "GO!"
There is Hope, there is deliverance, and Jesus will speak Life over death into any situation or circumstance you find yourself facing today.}
